For The Fatherless in Ypsilanti

(I got a little bored on Sunday while I was trying to procrastinate.)

As most of you may know, February was a hard month for me. But that has passed, and now it's March! (Yay!) I love the warmer weather. Spring is my favorite season. New beginnings, and leaving behind all the winter blues. A couple of years ago I went through a harsh depression in February, and was hospitalized (not in a mental institution!) in March. While I was recovering, I met a guy in my choir at Kilgore College and we dated for a little bit. It didn't end well, but it did a lot to help me re-discover my self-esteem. During that time, I listened to a lot of different music. There are still a few songs I like to play every now and then that remind me of my recovery. (and how much I love Springtime!) Here's a few of them.

Boston- "More Than A Feeling": I still play this one whenever I have any type of victory. (Or just when I want to dance around my room like a little girl!)

Celine Dion- "A New Day Has Come": Totally out of the box for me, but still makes me cry.

Sujfan Stevens- "For The Widows in Paradise..": I just love this song. Raw emotion and a banjo.

Dido-"Thank You": The title and the lyrics say it all.

I know this is more of a personal and nostalgic post, but thanks for bearing with me:)

Love, Ty:)
