This weekend Ethan and I pretty much ate our way through Denton. No shame here. Friday, he came to take a tour of Sterling (future apartments!) and we went out that night to see that new Steve Carell movie about the end of the world. (He was yummy in that movie. Hottest insurance salesman ever...) Then on Saturday, we went to go see the new Tyler Perry Madea movie. Ethan's face during some of the scenes=priceless. Before the movie, we went to Chuy's, one of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to since I've lived here in Denton. They even had cool shirts to buy! Annnnd I'm a sucker, so I bought one. Here's a rundown of the weekend's events.
Awkward:
-On Friday, when we went to go touring at Sterling, there was a older woman there just chilling. She pretty much immediately latched on to Ethan and I and offered to be my maid-of-honor. But I'm not engaged?...
-The party, instead of being at the clubhouse (where we thought it would be) was at the leasing trailer. Too many people, too little space.
-I had way too much Slurpee at that party.
-When we went to see the movie on Friday, there were a ton of women lined up outside the theater to see Magic Mike. There was even a girl there to see it with her ENTIRE family, dad included. Uh, eww?
-Seeking a Friend for the End of the World was quite possibly one of the saddest movies I've ever seen. Ethan cried, I teared up a little. But you didn't hear that from me.
-I'm still tired from school. So ready to be back home.
Awesome:
-Madea was hilarious! Ethan seemed to like it!
-ONLY ONE MORE WEEK UNTIL I HEAD BACK TO KILGORE!
-Chuy's was AMAZING. I loved it and will probably beg Ethan to go back.
-Steve Carell was fine.
Off to have a study party with...myself. Later days.
Love, Ty:)
