Angel

I am sitting in my room listening to old sappy R&B songs and crying a little. Not necessarily because I'm sad, but it's the end of yet another milestone in my life. In five days, I'll be able to say that I successfully made it through my first year away at school. In four months, I'll be moving into my first apartment, and starting my last year in college. For me, how far I've come in this school year since I moved here in August is a bit overwhelming when I think about it. I went from pining away for someone I couldn't have, who wasn't good for me at all, to meeting an amazing guy I didn't even know existed and being in the most serious relationship I've been in in years. I've met some pretty amazing people here in Denton, and it's been a pretty amazing ride, my first year here. I've learned a lot, and seen a lot. Despite all the negative bumps I've had since moving away from my family, I feel that the positive far outweighs the negative. I wouldn't trade my experiences during this past year for the world.
