Since earlier this week I gave you my year in pictures, I felt it only right to give you my year in music:) A few songs that have either helped me get through rough times, or remind me of a particular point or event that happened this year. Here it is: Ty's year in music!
Unwritten Law-"Slow Dance" This song is the most played on my MP3 player. I went out many nights to this one.
Rihanna- "We Found Love" This song isn't on my MP3 player, but if it was, it would be on repeat. It's catchy, and pretty much describes my entire second semester.
Spooky Folk- "Resurrect!" Spooky Folk was the VERY first band I saw live in Denton. I've loved them since before I moved here. My favorite song from them.
Lil Wayne/Rick Ross- "John" While a bit explicit, this song helped me beast many-a term paper, and curbed a lot of anger at idiots on Facebook.
Radical Face- "Welcome Home" This song is very emotional for me to listen to. It was the song that was (randomly) playing the day I pulled up on the train, heading back to Denton from my panic attack. Ethan was waiting for me that day.
Train "If It's Love"- This is mine and Ethan's song. But if anyone asks, I don't listen to this sappy music and we haven't tossed around the idea of playing it at our (possible-maybe-sometime-in-the-distant-future) wedding.
ONE more day left in Denton. I have been cleaning out my dorm room, and it's been a very long, so I'm very emotional. But this time tomorrow, I will be home in East Texas! Yay!
